Security and Control

So, one of my concerns - and I am assuming it is shared by others - is that most AI is being done through a handful of companies running a model that can provide services remotely and that these services will run up a bill. I think for security of your data and security in terms of access, it is becoming important to be in control of your resrouces, so I recently started to understand and implement AI systems that can be run locally. Here is a sample interaction with an AI scribe implementation that runs entirely locally.

response: **History of Presenting Illness:** The patient, a 34-year-old male with a history of Hepatitis C and previous MRSA abscesses in the groin area, presented with a sudden onset of chills that began Tuesday. He reported a heavy run of "blues" and IV speedballs, which he believes contributed to his current symptoms. Additionally, he mentioned losing his favorite rig and sharing it with a buddy last week, which he believes may have exacerbated his condition. He has been experiencing constant sweats and a feeling of "weirdness" in his chest, akin to a flutter. The patient has been couch surfing recently and has not had a steady primary care physician or medications. He was admitted to the hospital two years ago for a similar condition but left against medical advice after two days due to joint pain, particularly in his shoulders and low back. He has been experiencing difficulty breathing, requiring him to cough hard to get a deep breath. Recently, his sister died of heart valve issues, which has made him particularly anxious. The patient's symptoms started about six hours ago and are now accompanied by shaking.
